Regular funding for Archives, Education & Exhibition
From April 2008 Screen East will continue to invest in three year franchises for the delivery of region-wide archive and film heritage services or county-wide moving Image education services and investment in region based film festival activity taking place during 2008 and up to 31st March 2009. Our aim in awarding the grant in aid franchises is for the delivery of core services in order to:

> Encourage greater geographical spread of resources
> Allow the entry of new clients, partners and investors
> Improve delivery against achievable objectives for audience
development and moving image education and training for industry
> Strengthen and develop the archive, film education and exhibition infrastructure of the region and help funded organisations to achieve greater viability
> Continue to focus investment away from annual overheads to education and outreach service delivery

Application for franchise or festival funding should be made using the PDF downloads below.

> Applications for the festival fund or for the region-wide archive or county education franchises should submit a full festival & franchises application form as well as a business plan and associated targets required for the fund.
> Renewal applications for franchises with three-year education or archive investment agreements should submit an updated business plan, targets and financial information as requested in the associated guidelines.
> Education & Archives deadline in Monday 28 January 2008
> Festivals Fund deadline (festivals taking place between 1 May 2008 and 31 March 2009) is Monday 3 March 2008.
