I want to run a student film festival. Will Screen East support this?
Screen East is unable to fund students or fund activity that forms part of education courses.

What kind of festivals does Screen East assist?
We only invest in Festivals that link industrial and cultural benefits. This might involve creating a showcase for new industry talent or bringing new or archive films into commercial distribution. Though we are not able to provide funding to all festivals we can offer advice on alternative sources of funding for festivals. Read our Festival Strategy for more details.

I want to make a feature film using archive footage. Who should I contact?
We can assist research and development projects using archive material through Priority Three of our Rife funding. Script development is normally financed under Priority One. Both our Production
and Audiences and Education staff can provide guidance.
